Rachita Bhattacharya Biography
Rachita Bhattacharya is an Indian film actress from Bengal. She entered the film industry through her debut film in Telugu titled Chaplin by Anindo Banerjee. She paired with the actor Srijit Mukherji in that film.
She came from a family of army background and due to frequent transfers of her father she had to change her schools often. She had studied in 17 schools in her life and that gave her a good exposure. She is a Bengali by birth but spent most of her days at Punjab. She can speak and read both Punjabi and Bengali.
She married Akhilesh Chauhan and after her marriage her name became too long as Rachita Bhattacharya Akhilesh Chauhan and so she dropped her surname and assumed the name of Rachita.
Some of the movies that she has acted include Uro Chithi, Yeh Faasley, Chaplin and Rang Milanti.
