Prem Krishen Malhotra Biography 
Prem Krishen Malhotra, popularly called Prem Krishen is a film actor and producer, who owns Cinevistaas Limited, a film and television production company established in the year 1993. He is the son of the late actor Prem Nath and popular actress Bina Rai. His paternal aunt Krishna is married to Showman of Bollywood – Raj Kapoor. Thus he is a close relative of Kapoor Filmy Family. His younger brother, Kailash has played a few character roles on Hindi silver screen.
As a successful film and TV serial producer, some of his popular TV shows include Junoon, Dill Mil Gaya, Kathasagar, Gul Gulshan Gulfaam etc. Prem Krishen is an actor-turned producer. He was born into a family of strong filmy background. Both his parents were successful actors in the golden era of Bollywood. While his father Prem Nath was a successful villain on silver screen, his mother Bina Rai was a popular heroine who was paired with leading actors of her time. He too followed the footsteps of his parents and joined film industry as an actor. Though he received initial success in movies as an actor, he later completely switched on to film and TV serial production. Prem’s daughter Akanksha Malhotra has also appeared in a few Bollywood films, and played lead role in Yeh Mohabbat Hai (2002).
Prem’s schooling was done at Hill Grange High School on Peddar Road, Mumbai. Later he started his film journey with the film, Dulhan Wohi Jo Piya Man Bhaye released in the year 1977. This successful film was released in the banner Rajshri banner and he played lead role against Rameshwari. Madan Puri also played a pivot role in this film. Though he played lead role in his debut flick, and the movie was a major success, he couldn’t make his mark as a successful actor in Bollywood. After a few film and television roles, he completely switched on to production. He established Cinevistaas Limited in the year 1993.
