Payal Rajput Biography

Payal Rajput is an Indian actress who appears in movies and TV shows. She is a part of several TV shows in Hindi, apart from Punjabi and Telugu movies. She is a television actress since 2010, who later turned a film actress. She made her film debut in 2017 Punjabi film Channa Mereya, and is fully active in cine buzz and TV shows since then. Payal Rajput started her television career in Sapnon Se Bhare Naina as Sonakshi. She later moved to lead protagonist through Aakhir Bahu Bhi Toh Beti Hee Hai playing Siya. Yeh Hai Aashiqui, Maha Kumbh: Ek Rahasaya, Ek Kahani, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya and Darr Sabko Lagta Hai are her TV shows before she turned a film actress.

Payal Rajput hails from New Delhi. She was born on 5 December 1990. She got her first break to acting through her TV role in Sapnon Se Bhare Naina in 2010, and was active in television scene till 2016, playing both lead and supporting roles. In 2017 she got her break to films through Channa Mereya directed by Pankaj Batra. It was the remake of Marathi blockbuster Sairat, where Payal played the lead role. The film received mixed reviews from critics.

In 2018 she joined Bollywood with the movie, Veerey Ki Wedding, playing the supporting role of Rinki Vohra, and she later received more film offers from Bollywood. In 2018 she moved towards south and marked her debut with Telugu movie, RX 100. She was paired with Kartikeya Gummakonda in this action drama, and received good reviews from critics. Since then she is regular in Telugu films along with Punjabi filmy career. She is to mark her Tamil film debut with couple of films – Angel and Disco Raja.
