Parth Bhalerao Biography

Parth Bhalerao is a child artist best known for the movie, Bhoothnath Returns. He played the title role of Akhrot, the young boy in this super hit movie, a big entertainer to kids. Earlier he has acted in Upside Down and Killa, but he gained attention with the success of Bhoothnath Returns, a sequel to 2007 movie, Bhoothnath. The movie also made a unique record as the commercial hit of Bollywood in the recent times, whose lead actor is with age 70+.

He was born in Pune in 2000. He made his acting debut with the Unreleased Marathi Film Killa. Bhootnath returns – is his first Bollywood release. In the movie, he was the only person who can see the ghost Khailash Nath (Bhoothnath), the role played by Big B. His powerful role as a slum kid named Akhrot with excellent dialogue delivering skills earned him a huge loud of applause from viewers and critics. He got the role through audition and was lucky enough to bag the central character of the movie. Big B used to call him the nickname – Champion. The movie also included Boman Irani and Usha Jadhav in pivot roles and Shah Rukh Khan, Anurag Kashyap and Ranbir Kapoor in cameo roles. He also got opportunity to appear in the song by Yo Yo Honey Singh.

Earlier he has done one Marathi movie – Killa which was premiered at the Berlin Film Festival and went on to win the Crystal Bear (Best feature film) in 2014. The film hasn’t got a theatrical release yet. He considers his parents as his role models and inspiration.
