Nishvika Naidu Biography

Nishvika Naidu is an upcoming actress belonging to south Indian cinema, who predominantly works in Kannada movies. She made an impressive film debut through 2018 Kannada movie, Amma I Love You, opposite Chiranjeevi Sarja. The movie was directed by K. M. Chaitanya and produced by Dwarkish. The movie was Kannada remake of Tamil drama, Pichaikkaran (2016). The movie was a box office hit and ran 50 days at theatres. Her second Kannada release was Vaasu Naan Pakka Commercial (2018), and the third release was Padde Huli (2019). She owns a few more projects in her kit.

Nishvika Naidu was born in Bangalore on 19 May 1996. She graduated in psychology from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore before joining films. Her debut film Amma I Love You, opposite Chiranjeevi Sarja was a huge hit at box office, and Naidu received rave reviews for her performance. She was nominated at SIIMA Award for Best Debutant Actor in a Leading Role (Female) - Kannada and also Filmibeat Award for Best Debutant Actress – Kannada, though she didn’t receive any award. After that she received numerous film roles opposite leading stars of Kannada film industry.

Till now she has three releases in Kannada language - Vaasu Naan Pakka Commercial, Amma I Love You and Padde Huli. Currently she is working on four films and all are slated to release in 2020 – Gentlemen, Ramarjuna, Gaalipata 2 and an untitled film opposite Upendra, all in lead roles. Before her screen debut, she bagged three of these projects. It put huge burden of expectations on her shoulders. She belongs to a non-filmy background.
