Neeraj Madhav Biography

Neeraj Madhav is a Malayalam film actor known for supporting roles. He has played character roles in box office hits like Drishyam, Memories, 1983 and Oru Indian Pranayakadha. All of his movies have turned to be major hits. This promising young actor made his film debut through 2013 movie – Buddy and got opportunity to work in a few memorable movies. He started off as a dancer for Amrita TV’s reality show - 'Super Dancer', where he was one of the finalists.

Neeraj was born in Kozhikode, Kerala on 26 March 1990. His full name is Neeraj K Namboodiri and he was born as the elder son of Dr.K Madhavan and Latha. He graduated in Visual communication from SRM University, Chennai. After graduation, he took PG in Theatre from School of Drama and Fine Arts, Thrissur. His first achievement was in the form a reality dance show on Amrita TV – Super dancer where he finished as one among the finalists. He was studying in school when he participated in the show. In 2010, he won Chennai Times Mr. Fresh Face title and it was during his graduation in Chennai.

After compeltiong post-graduation in Arts from Thrissur, he started giving auditions for movies and he landed into his first role through 2013 movie – Buddy. He got opportunity to work with Anoop Menon, Srikanth and Bhumika Chawla for this movie and since then he got regular roles in Mollywood. His real breakthrough was through 2 big hits of director Jeethu Joseph in the 2013 – Thrillers – Memories and Dhrishyam which cemented his position in the film industry. He played the role of Monichan in Dhrishyam.
