Namit Shah Biography

Namit Shah is a popular child artist of small screen and Bollywood.  In 2013, he appeared in Bollywood movies - Main Krishna Hoon and Ramaiya Vastavaiya. He played the childhood role of Sonu Sood in the Hindi remake of Tamil flick ‘Something Something’ - Ramaiya Vastavaiya. His debut movie, Main Krishna Hoon in which Hrithik and Katrina played cameo roles, Namit received a nomination at Times Best Child Artist Award. He played the title role of Kabir Jaiswal in the popular television series, The Suite Life of Karan & Kabir – Season 1 and 2. Currently he appears in Baal Veer, a popular children's television series on SAB TV.

Namit Shah started his modelling career in 2009 with commercials. He first appeared in HSBC ad which was not aired in India. After that he appeared in many popular ads of which, a Reebok ad where he appeared aside Mahendra Singh Dhoni made him very popular. He made his television debut in the year 2012, where he appeared in the lead role aside his cousin, Siddharth Thakkar as twins in the popular children’s series, The Suite Life of Karan & Kabir on Disney India. In 2013, the successful pair appeared in its next season two. The series is an Indian adaptation of the American show - The Suite Life of Zack & Cody.

Namit made his film debut through ‘Mein Krishna Hoon’, which is the maiden venture of director Rajiv S. Ruia. It’s a partial animated series, where he played the role of an orphan rescued by Kantaben, the character played by Juhi Chawla. Later he acted in ‘Ramaiya Vastavaiya’.
