Minon Biography 
Minon is a National award winning child artist from Malayalam cinema. He made his film debut in 2012 with Malayalam film 101 Chodyangal, which earned him National award for best child actor. The role also bagged him Kerala State Film Award for Best Child Artist, Kerala State Film Critics Award for Best Child Artist and Harlem International Film Festival Awards for Best Actor. After his magic debut in Mollywood, he played child actor roles in Munnariyippu (2014), Lal Bahadur Shastri (2014), Ennum Eppozhum (2015), Jilebi (2015), Action Hero Biju (2016) and Swarna Kaduva (2016). He is also an artist who has held his painting exhibitions across India.
His full name is Minon John. He was born in Alappuzha on 12 February 2000. Edatuva is his hometown. Since childhood he is interested in painting and this budding artist has already conducted 80 painting exhibitions across India. He owns over 3,500 paintings to his credit. He made his acting debut as a child artist at the age of 13 through the critically acclaimed film, 101 Chodyangal. The movie was written and directed by debutant Sidhartha Siva, for which he won Best First Film of a Director award and Minon too bagged the prestigious Best Child Artist award. He played the role of a 5th standard student who was asked to frame 101 questions as an assignment.
He didn’t have any acting experience earlier. Yet when the role of Anil Kumar Bokaro came to him through the film’s director Sidhartha Shiva, he did not hesitate. After the overwhelming response from critics, Minon appeared in a few more films. Yet his first film is still regarded as his best performance. A boy of extraordinarily talent, he often takes class on mural painting and its history for the students of schools and colleges. He started reading and writing at the age of four, and gains knowledge through books and other cultural activities.
