Milana Nagaraj Biography

Milana Nagaraj is a south Indian film actress who predominantly works in Kannada cinema. She has also appeared in one Malayalam film, Avarude Raavukal in 2017 where she played the supporting role of Meghna. A promising Kannada actress who made her film debut in 2013, till now she acted in Kannada films - Nam Duniya Nam Style, Brindavana, Charlie and Jaan. Fly is her upcoming Kannada project. She mostly played second lead and parallel lead in films till now. But all the roles she played till now are meaty ones.

 

Milana hails from Hassan, Karnataka. She was born in the year 1989. She currently resides in Bangalore. She holds an engineering degree in computer science and she pursued the professional degree from VKIT Bangalore. She has been associated with beauty pageant shows since her college days and has won "Miss Best Personality" sub-title in "Miss Karnataka" Contest.

 

She was a state-level backstroke swimmer and has won several medals in state level competitions. She has been associated with swimming at the age of 4 and dreamt to be a national level swimmer. But in her plus-two class everything changed. Just a few months before her board exams, Milana met with an accident, and she had to take a break from swimming. After that she concentrated on studies and completed her BTech degree.

 

Though she took an IT degree, she was not at all interested in white collar job. When her friends suggested her to participate in the Miss Karnataka contest, it was really a turning point of her life. After winning the "Miss Best Personality" subtitle, she debuted in Kannada cinema with Nam Duniya Nam Style in 2013, and since then she is fully active in the film scene. She regularly played parallel and second lead roles in films up-to-date.
