Mayur Vyas Biography

Mayur Vyas is a well-established dubbing artist and voice actor associated with Bollywood and Hindi television. He is the ‘Hindi voice’ of megastar Rajinikanth for his dubbed Hindi movies, which include – Sivaji and Ethiran. Mayur dubs for both English and Hindi languages. Apart from his film career, he is also an academic who teaches at a business college in Mumbai. After his college hours, he spends his time in dubbing studios, where he works as a dubbing artist. Mayur is associated with this field for more than one decade where he dubs for English films, TV serials and cartoons. Mayur is associated with dubbing since 2001.

In Mayur’s words, it’s easy to copy star Rajinikanth’s style. But it’s not easy to copy star’s voice. Also, Tamil is a faster language and a dubbing artist has to sync lip correctly with the character. Robot (Ethiran) did profitable business in Hindi also and its success attributed a lot behind the man who delivered the dialogues – Mayur Vyas. Shivaji The Boss in 2008 was his big break to dubbing field and since then offers came pouring in. Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa, Megamind, Despicable Me 2 and The Lorax are the animated films for which he dubbed for the artists - Bernie Mac, Steve Carell, J. K. Simmons and Danny DeVito respectively.

Mayor is associated with dubbing world since 2001 and he is a lecturer at a college by profession. He was born and brought up in Mumbai and is now 38+ age. He was born in 1976/1977. He does dubbing as a part time job. Mayor has dubbed for several junior artists and supporting actors of Hollywood movies to Hindi. Shivaji The Boss in 2008 was his career breakthrough, where he dubbed for Rajinikanth. No one could easily recognize that it was Mayor’s voice. Since then he dubs for Rajinikanth which proved lucky for him.
