Manoj K Jayan Biography 
Manoj K. Jayan is an Indian actor who appeared in Malaylam, Tamil and Telugu film industry. He was born on 15th March in Kottayam district of Kerala in Ezhava family. His parents are Jayan and V. K. Sarojini. His father is a Carnatic musician and his mother is a teacher.
He learned music from his younger days. He wanted to try his luck in acting. He studied at Nattakam Government College. He joined Southern Film Institute in Trivandrum. This helped him to overcome his shyness. The training he got there polished his acting career. Professor Adam Ayub called him to act in a serial after his studies. He acted in the serial Kumilakal and that was a super hit in Doordharshan.
His debut film was Mamalakalkappurathu by Ali Akbar and this was never released. Then his next film Perunthachan by M. T. Vasudevan Nair was a success. He acted along with Mammooty and Rajnikanth in the film Dhalapathi.
He got Kerala State Best Supporting Actor Award for the film Sargam in 1992 and Kerala State Second Best Actor Award for the film Pazhassi Raja in 2009. In the film Sargam, he acted in the role of Kuttan Thamburan captivating the hearts of the people by his acting.
He fell in love with the actress Urvashi and married her. He has one daughter named Thejalakshmi Kunjatta. They got divorce in 2008 and again he married Asha on 3rd March 2009.
Some of the films that he has acted include Thooval Kattu, Nirakazhcha, 24 Hours, Ekadashy, Kayam, Dhrona 2010, Chattambinadu, Winter, Madhyavenal, Villu, Souryam, Oru Pennum Randaanum, Crazy Gopalan, Jubilee, Naalu Pennungal, Ekantham, Time, Sudesi, Thiruttu Payale, Smart City, Photographer, Aanai, Udayon, Jana, Vishwa Thulasi, Vajram, Veede, Thirumalai, etc. Some of the serials that he has acted are Vaitharani, Kumilakal, Samaganam and Devamanohari Nee.
