Mallika Kapoor Biography

Mallika Kapoor is a south Indian actress born in a Punjabi family in New Delhi on April 25, 1985. She started her film career through Bollywood movie Dil Bechara Pyaar Ka Maara in 2004 followed by Malayalam movie, Albhuthadweep released in 2005. She played lead role opposite Ajaykumar and Prithviraj Sukumaran and this movie is noticed for including more than 300 dwarfs, including the lead actor Ajaykumar in this movie. This movie was the first Indian film whose remake rights have been bought by Hollywood. Albhuthadweep was released in Tamil titled, Arputha Theevu. Azhagai Irukkirai Bayamai Irukkirathu was her debut Tamil movie, in which she played lead role opposite Bharath and Arun Vijay.

She was born on April 25, 1985 in Delhi and made her debut on silver screen through Bollywood flick, Dil Bechara Pyaar Ka Maara in a supporting role. Albhuthadweep released in 2005 was her real debut in which she played a full-fledged role. The movie was a commercial hit too. In 2006 she made her Tamil debut through Azhagai Irukkirai Bayamai Irukkirathu, opposite Bharath which bombed at box office. Same year her second Tamil movie, Vathiyar was released. She was casted opposite arjun and the movie was an average grosser at box office. Meanwhile the same year she made her Telugu debut through Allare Allari and Kannada debut through Savi Savi Nenapu and in both these movies she played lead role.

Puli Varudhu opposite Jithan Ramesh and Anthony Yaar? opposite Shaam are her other Tamil releases in which she played main lead. She played lead role opposite Mukesh in Malayalam movie, Advocate Lakshmanan – Ladies Only. She also appeared in supporting roles in Malayalam movies like Makara manju, The Thriller and Madambi.
