Kiran Srinivas Biography

Kiran Srinivas is a film and television actor, best known for playing the 'drug addict' Roy Dsouza in Indian TV Series Paanch - 5 Wrongs Make A Right. He was also seen portraying the character role of Dev in Indian version of American Television series – 24, which happened to be his debut work also. He currently plays the role of Ishaan Srinivas in Bindass's popular series Zindagi Wins. Gumrah: End of Innocence, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya Season 3 and 4 are other noted appearances. He was seen in the third and fourth season of Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya portraying the role of Abhimanyu.

He was a movie buff and grew up watching Kannada movies. Known for his good physique, earlier he has also appeared in a few Kannada movies since mid 2000s, though was not successful. Preethiyinda Ramesh, What's on Your Mind?, Noorondu Baagilu, Kaanchana, Veera, Chiru and Haage Summane met with failure and he moved to television, which proved successful. He played lead role in the romantic movie, Haage Summane in 2008 directed by Preetham Gubbi. The movie was the debut of Kiran, the director as well as his heroine, Suhasi. But the movie bombed at box office. The actor states that his looks and complexion are very non-Kannadiga and his skin colour works against him.

Though he did numerous roles in a row, his Sandalwood career didn't take off and he shifted to Mumbai in 2011 to make a mark as an actor. Yet the actor expressed his desire to work in Kannada movies in future. His first script in Mumbai was offered by Niruttara. Though he thought that the silver screen was the ultimate, working in television changed his perception.
