Khesari Lal Yadav is a film actor associated with Bhojpuri cinema, known for playing lead roles. He is also known as a singer and successful model. He is associated with Bhojpuri cinema since 2011 and has done more than 50 films in a short span of 7 years. He frequently works with actress Kajal Raghwani playing lead pair, and this jodi is extremely popular. They have done around 20 films together, with three releases in 2018 and most of them were well received. Yadav is a recipient of numerous popular awards. Sangharsh, Dulhan Ganga Paar Ke, Damru and Deewanapan are his recent releases.

Khesari Lal Yadav was born on 3 July 1986 in Chapra, Bihar. His father’s name is Mangru Yadav. He is married to Chanda Devi and the couple has two children, Kriti Yadav & Rishav Yadav. Bhojpuri is his mother tongue and he is a singer of same language too. In fact he came to limelight for the first time through his musical album, Maal Bhetai Mela Me. It gave him a real breakthrough to singing industry. He marked his film debut with 2012 Bhojpuri film, Saajan Chale Sasural, and became a youth sensation. Very soon he rose to fame and became one of the most sought actors of Bhojpuri screen.

After the success of Saajan Chale Sasural, he appeared in a series of films whose titles mostly derived from Hindi films - Jaan Tere Naam, Nagin, Lahoo Ke Do Rang, Sapoot, Doodh Ka Karz, Pyar Jhukta Nahi, Sansaar, Teri Kasam, Kachche Dhaage, Betaab, Shola Shabnam, Tere Naam, Jaaneman, Khoon Bhari Maang, Jo Jita Wahi Sikander, Saathiya, Haseena Maan Jayegi, Inteqaam, Hero No: 1, Dilwala, Khiladi, Hogi Pyar Ki Jeet etc. Sajan In Saajan Chale Sasural & Sajan chale sasural 2 and Khesari in DilLe Gayi Odhaniya Wali, Pratigya 2, Khiladi, Betab etc are some of his most popular roles.
