Karan Trivedi Biography

Karan Trivedi is a television and theatre artist who is a very successful dubbing artist as well. He is the younger brother of popular television actress, Ami Trivedi. He has been working as a voice actor and dubbing artist for Hindi and Gujarati languages for over a decade. He dubs for Indian and foreign cartoons, apart from live action films. He dubbed for Daniel Radcliffe's role as Harry Potter, in the second series of Harry Potter films, which is one among his best dubbing works up-to-date. He has dubbed for the lead role of Harry Potter for fifth five series before handling the role to Rajesh Kava and known to be "The voice of Harry Potter" in the dubbing arena.

 

Karan was born in Mumbai on 17 January 1984. He has been lending his voice to cartoon characters for about 2 decades. Karan started his career as a child artist in movies in the 1990s, before he got associated with Gujarati theatre. He played the child role of Aamir Khan in 1998 super hit film, Ghulam. He is a great fan of Harry Porter films too and later he became the Indian voice of the character as well. He was seen in a brief role in 2008 film, Mumbai Meri Jaan, starring Saif Ali Khan. He played a rich boy sitting in a car.

 

His elder sister Ami Trivedi dubbed for Harry in the first part of the series when the character was too young. Later the character was handed over to Karan, and is regarded as the most successful dubbing character till now. He loves the dialogue - School ke bahar ki duniya mein jaadu bahut hi khatarnak hota hai, and the final speech of the film.
