Jhilik Bhattacharya Biography 
Jhilik Bhattacharya is a popular actress associated with Odia film industry. She is also appeared in Bengali language films. She made her Ollywood debut with the film Target in 2013, opposite Amlan, who also marked his acting debut with the same film. Encounter released in same year marked her Bengali debut the same year, and her second Bengali release, Classmate also got released the same year. Since then she has appeared in more than a dozen of films, predominantly in Odia cinema. Ole Ole Dil Bole, released in 2018 is her most recent released film.
Jhilik Bhattacharya hails from West Bengal, born into a Bengali family. Yet she gives equal importance to her Oriya and Bengali film career. June 1st is her birthday. She was born to Mritinjay Bhattacharya and Sumana Bhattacharjya. She began her film career as an Assistant Choreographer, in the Bollywood movie ‘Raavan’ directed by Mani Ratnam. Later, she made her way into Odia Film Industry, switching to acting roles. She is a trained dancer who studied western dance at Shiamak Davar’s Dancing Institute, after completing her graduation in English. She has also done Master’s degree in Bharathnatyam.
She made her Ollywood debut in the year 2013, with the movies, ‘Target’, where she shared screen space with Amlan. Since then she got many film offers, both from Oriya and Bengali film industries, and gained recognition through the roles she played in the films - ‘Lekhu Lekhu Lekhi Deli, Love You Hamesha, Jabardast Premika, Agastya etc’. Within a short time span, she turned a busy actress of both Oriya and Bengali film industry. Ole Ole Dil Bole, Tamaku Dekhila Pare and Tu Mo Hero are some of her noted works in the recent past.
