Iyshwarya Rajesh Biography

Iyshwarya Rajesh is an actress of Tamil cinema. She won the dance reality show, Maanada Mayilada - Season 3 which gave her break to movies. Avargalum Ivargalum in 2011 marked her big screen debut and she is popular for the role of Amudha in Attakathi (2012), Tamil romantic comedy film directed by Pa. Ranjith where she worked aside Dinesh and Nandita. The movie fetched positive reviews and emerged successful at the box office. Aachariyangal, Sattapadi Kutram, Vilayada Vaa and Puthagam are her other released movies. Vaadi Vasal and Thirudan Police are her upcoming movies. Thirudan Police is produced by S P Charan where she plays opposite Dinesh. She plays opposite K-Town’s hot favourite, Vijay Sethupathi in the latest releases of 2014, Rummy and Pannaiyarum Padminiyum.

Iyshwarya belongs to a filmy family with 3-generation experience in cinema. Her father late Rajesh was a Telugu film actor who worked in about 50 movies in character roles. Her grandfather Amarnath has played lead roles in a few movies and also a film producer. She is the niece of Telugu comedy actor, Sri Lakshmi who has worked in more than 500 movies. Iyshwarya graduated in commerce from Ethiraj College for Women. She learnt dance when she was in need to choreograph a stage show for a student cultural fest. The reality show Maanada Mayilada on Kalaignar TV earned her instant success and many film offers.

 
Yet, she believed that acting was not all her cup of tea and decided to quit industry. But very soon, her role of Amudha in Attakathi placed her as a popular actress of Tamil cinema.After that she seriously thought on choosing acting as a career and concentrates on it.
