Isha Koppikar Biography 
Isha Koppikar is an Indian actress appearing in films of many languages such as Kannada, Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. She won Filmfare Best Female Debut award for her Tamil film Kaadhal Kavithai.
She was born on 19th September 1976 in Mumbai in Maharashtra. Her mother tongue is Konkani. She has one brother who is younger than her. She studied Life Sciences at Ramnarain Ruia College in Mumbai and got her graduation. She started her modeling career with L’Oreal, Rexona, Camay, Coca-Cola and Tips and Toes. She took part in the Miss India contest 1995 and won the title of Miss Talent Crown.
After her debut film Kaadhal Kavithai in Tamil in 1998, she worked in more than forty films. She worked with the fashion designers Anita Dongre and Pria Kataria Puri. At present she is serving as the representative of India of the Italian fashion company, Police Watches and Jewelry. Apart from her acting career, she is also serving as the spokesperson for the animal rights organization PETA. She received the 10th Anniversary Humanitarian Award for her activity in December 2009. She has also secured black belt in Taekwondo.
She continued her career in Tamil, her second movie being En Swasa Kaatre in 1998 with Arwind Swamy. Her third film was Jodi in which she did cameo appearance. She acted in the Telugu film Chandralekha with Nagarjuna and Simran and Tamil film Nenjinile with Vijay.
She appeared in four films in Kannada in 2000, Hoo Anthiya Uhoo Anthiya, Nuvvu Vasthavani, O Nanna Nalle and Surya Vamsha. Some of the films that she acted include Fiza, Prematho Raa, Narasimha, Rahul, Pyaaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat, Company, Dil Ka Rishta, Dama Mana Hai, Rudraksh, Girl Friend, Ek Vivaah Aisa Bhi, Right Yaa Wrong, Hello Darling, etc.
She was dating with Rohit Narang and married him on 29th November 2009. She also has appeared in few music videos. She appeared in the reality show Indian Idol and served as one of the judged of the dance competition Nach Baliye 3. She served as the judge of the Miss Universe 2008 contest held in Vietnam.
