Gashmeer Mahajani Biography

Gashmeer Mahajani is a film actor and choreographer associated with Marathi and Hindi movies. He also worked with theatre, and television shows. Mahajani is son of the famous Marathi film actor Ravindra Mahajani. He also runs an academy for contemporary dance training and martial arts. He made his Marathi film debut in 2015 in a lead role with Sanjay Londe's Carry On Maratha opposite Kashmira Kulkarni. Deool Band, Mala Kahich Problem Nahi, Kanha and One Way Ticket are his other Marathi movies released, and Rubik’s Cube is the upcoming one. His first appearance for a Hindi film was in 2010, Muskurake Dekh Zara, and later in Dongari ka Raja in lead role.

Gashmeer Mahajani hails from Pune, Maharashtra. He was born into a Marathi family with filmy background. He is the son of Marathi film actor Ravindra Mahajani. He is married to Gauri Deshmukh since 2014. His younger days were spent in Pune where he completed his education. Gashmeer began his film career with the 2010 romantic movie, Muskurake Dekh Zara. But later he took a break from films to concentrate on to his theatre career. He was fully associated with Prithvi Theatre in Mumbai for four years as an actor, and he also directed a few plays during this period.

He returned to Marathi cinema in 2015, and also started accepting Hindi projects. He played lead roles in most of these cases. In his movie, 'Carry On Maratha’, his father appeared in the song sequence, Mann Jai Jitha, Navlai Titha. In Marathi cinema, he is a well-known lead hero, though he is yet to succeed in Bollywood films. Rubik’s Cube is the upcoming Marathi release. Also known as a choreographer in the film industry, he runs a school - Gashmeer Mahajani Academy of Performing Arts in Pune to teach dance forms and martial arts.
