Ganesh Jain is a successful film producer from Bollywood, known for several super hit movies like Baazigar, Josh, Garam Masala, Khiladi, Main Khiladi Tu Anari, Humraaz, Badshah, Hulchul, De Dana Dan, Akele Hum Akele Tum, Hungama etc. He has financed many projects for Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar and others in the 1990s and later. Baazigar played a major role in establishing the career of SRK while the comedy-action flicks - Khiladi & Main Khiladi Tu Anari were among the major hits of Bollywood’s Khiladi Akshay Kumar during his early phase in Bollywood.  The success of Khiladi series played a magnificent role in establishing Akshay Kumar as action hero of Bollywood in the 1990s.

Jain Brothers – Owners of one of the oldest and most popular production houses of Bollywood, Venus Worldwide Entertainment, and Ganesh Jain is a member of this family. They include Ratan Jain, Ganesh Jain, Girish Jain, Champak Jain, Umed Jain, Ramesh Jain and Bhawar Jain, who ventured into the world of cassettes in the 1980s. Ganesh Jain along with his brother Ratan Jain was among the brothers who headed the business. They set up the company, Venus Records & Tapes Manufacturing Company. In 1992 they diversified the business and started producing films, and this attempt turned profitable.

The first film produced was Khiladi in 1992 starring Akshay Kumar and Ayesha Jhulka. The success of the film started the Khiladi series and many movies starring Akshay were made in this franchisee. Now the business has spread vast and diversified to audio, satellite, video and cable rights. Ganesh Jain was elected for a high profile post as a chairman in Indian Music Industry (IMI) & Phonographic Performance Ltd. (PPL) for the year 2012-2013.
