Ena Saha Biography

Ena Saha is a noted young actress of Bengali cinema, who made her Mollywood debut in 2013. She is best known for her roles in Bengali television serials like Maa and Shubashini and Bengali movie, Ami Adu. She made her Malayalam debut through Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvannabhoomi, where she played the love interest of Sunny Wayne, Gouri. The movie was highly praised by critics for its direction as well as performances. As a television actress, she gained huge popularity during her teens.

In 2009 she gained attention through the television series, Maa where she played the role of Jhilik's Aunt. The show has been aired in Star Jalsa. She played the title role of Shubhasini in the Bengali serial with the same name and later appeared in Raat Bhor Bristi, Bandhan and Bou Katha Kau. She made her film debut through 2011 Bengali movie, Ami Aadu. She played the supporting role of Amina in this movie. The film received National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Bengali in 2010. After that she appeared in the film 1:30 am where she played the role of Nishi. This role too was a highly acclaimed one. Both these roles have been character roles and she switched on to lead roles with her Malayalam debut.

She appeared in 5 Bengali movies till now. The actress is currently pursuing her under-graduation and wants to complete her education and carry acting side by side. After the success of her debut Malayalam movie, she is eager to do more Malayalam projects. She played the role of a village belle in her debut Malayalam movie, Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvannabhoomi.
