Eden Kuriakosse Biography

Eden Kuriakose is a south Indian film actress who appears in Tamil movies. 2013 Tamil film - Aandava Perumal marked her acting debut as an actress where she took the screen name Idhaya, and later she appeared in Panivizhum Nilavu and Irukku Aana Illai (in a double role) and currently doing a bilingual film in Tamil and Malayalam titled - Ini Varum Naatkal / Girls (First Indian movie with only female artists). Nach is another upcoming project of this budding actress. She is a Keralite, now into Tamil movies. She has been in modelling field before entering cinema.

Eden Kuriakose originally hails from Kerala and she has been a model. She made her film debut through Tamil film - Aandava Perumal in the year 2013, playing the role of Anitha. She was credited with the name Idaya for her debut film. In 2014, two Tamil movies were released - Panivizhum Nilavu and Irukku Aana Illai. She gained attention in a short time playing the pivot role of unreal character in the horror thriller - Irukku Aana Illai. It was director Sharavan’s debut film and played the role of the fantasy character, bubbly, adamant and sensitive character. She had to gain a little weight have fuller cheeks, which she reduced later.

Currently she is shooting for an all-women thriller 'Ini Varum Naatkal' (Tamil) and the movie is titled ‘Girls’ for its Malayalam release. Similar to Tamil-Malayalam bilingual – Snegithiye (Raakkilipaat) in 2000, it’s the film features only female artists for the first time in Indian cinema and Eden is excited to do the film. The movie is directed by Thulasidas and has been shot in Kuttikkanam, Vagamon, Cochin and Mumbai.
