Dhruva Sarja Biography

Dhruva Sarja is a budding actor of Kannada film industry who shot to fame after playing lead role in 2012 movie, Addhuri which was a commercial success. He became an overnight sensation with the movie’s release and Radhika Pandit played female lead. The movie won him both SIIMA awards and Udaya Film Award for Best Debutant actor. He is the nephew of noted Tamil actor Arjun Sarja and the brother of Chiranjeevi Sarja. Aishwarya Arjun is his cousin. His latest release is Bahaddur, released on October 2014 and the movie received mixed response from critics. The movie was directed by Chethan and he was paired with Radhika Pandit once again for this movie. His next project has been announced – Bhanta.

He was born into a filmy family on 6 October 1988 in Karnataka. Though his elder brother Chiranjeevi was launched by his uncle Arjun, Dhruva was launched by an outside banner. He patiently waited for long two years to get his magic role and it proved successful as well. He was paired with Radhika Pandit and with the release of the movie, he became a star. The movie was welcomed by youth and it completed 175 days in 10 theatres, becoming one of the highest grossers of 2012. The movie had everything – romance and action, which attracted the youth. Dhruva’s appearance as a romantic hero lost in love went well with audience. Tarun Chandra’s guest role was kept a surprise pack till movie’s release.

 
The actor rejected more than 50 scripts before signing for his next movie – Bahaddur. He also proved himself to be a good dancer with both his releases. He also concentrates on his physique.
