Badekkila Pradeep Biography

Badekkila Pradeep is a Film actor and television actor associated with Kannada and Tamil shows. He has earlier worked as a journalist and voice actor before his foray to television. His lead role as Prem in Sun TVs show Tamil series, Sondha Bandham made him a popular actor. The show has completed 700 episodes and currently he hosts a game show as well. In 2015 he made his film debut through the Kannada film - Mirchi Mandakki Kadak Chai released on January. He also sang a track - Long Drive for his debut film. This budding star has over 15,000 voiceovers to his credit in five different languages.

 

Badekkila was born and brought up in the Bangalore city. After completing Mater’s from Xavier College of Communications, in Mumbai, he started his career as a journalist in 2006. He worked as a Television reporter in the news channel TV9 and covered Cricket World Cup, in the year 2007. He was the first journalist of the channel who went abroad as a reporter. After a short stint as an associate producer at Big FM, he joined Aajkal News Channel in 2008 and worked in Bangalore.

 

This TV host turned actor started his stint in the entertainment field, in the year 2010. The family drama Krishna Rukmini, broadcasted on Suvarna Channel marked his television debut in 2010, followed by Tamil drama Sondha Bandham in the lead role, which shot him to fame. He has also worked as a dubbing artist associated with Tamil and Kannada languages for more than 15,000 projects till now – Indeed a commendable job. He hosted a Telugu show, Amma Magalu on Udaya Television in 2014, just before his Sandalwood debut through Mirchi Mandakki Kadak as full-fledged hero. Earlier he has essayed a small role in the multilingual film Chandra.
