Avinash Wadhawan Biography 
Avinash Wadhawan has been a romantic hero of Bollywood in the early 1990s, though couldn’t sustain in lead roles for long. Yet he was a familiar face on big screen and has done 17 Hindi movies before moving to regional and B-grade films. Later he appeared in several television soaps, and has been quite successful in small screen. Witnessed many ups and downs in his professional career, Avinash has completed 25 years in the entertainment industry and currently doing supporting roles for TV soaps.
Known for his chocolate image in Bollywood 1990s, Balma aside Ayesha Jhulka in 1992 is one of his popular roles on big screen. He played lead role aside Divya Bharati in her last release, Geet (1992) which was a moderate success at box office. He also played parallel lead in Mahesh Bhatt’s Junoon (1992). Many popular romantic tracks of 1990s like Mere Khayal se, Baasuriya and Title track of Balma, Rab Jaisa Roop Tumhara of Meera Ka Mohan, Tujh Se Muje Pyar Hai and Aap Jo Mere of Geet etc were pictured on him.
A model turned actor, he started his career in the year 1986 with Pyar Ho Gaya and with early 1990s he gained success as a popular young romantic hero of Bollywood. Parwane (1993) was a major hit. He has been successfully paired with top young heroines like Divya Bharati, Pooja Bhatt, Ashwini Bhave, Karishma Kapoor, Ayesha Jhulka etc. But with mid-1990s, he lost his charm in Bollywood and later shifted to small screen. Doli Armaano Ki as Anirudh Sinha, Balika Vadhu as Anoop, Junoon - Aisi Nafrat, toh Kaisa Ishq as Rajeev and Sapna Babul Ka...Bidaai as Inderjit Rajvansh are his noted roles on small screen. He is married to Natasha and a son was born on his birthday – 2nd November.
