Anindita Nayar Biography

Anindita Nayar is a noted model who debut Bollywood with Ajay Bhuyan’s Amit Sahni Ki List in 2014. She shared screen space with Vir Das and Vega Tamotia for this comedy flick. She played the role of an investment banker romancing Vir Das (Amit Sahni) in the film. She also played female lead in the horror flick - 3: AM: The Hour of the Dead and will be seen in Hasmukh Pighal Gaya, which stars Big B and Vidya Balan. She is a trained Scuba Diver, and often seen doing those sequences for movies.

Nayar was born in New Delhi on 1 July 1988 and was raised in India, USA and Turkey. She partially grew up in Istanbul. Her father Pravin Nayar, a chemical engineer from IIT Delhi works in USA while her mother Anu is a designer of home furnishings. Anindita schooled at British International School Istanbul and Delhi Public School, R. K. Puram and completed graduation in History from Lady Shri Ram College for Women. Nayar did modelling and has appeared in several TV ads. Panasonic opposite Ranbir Kapoor, Idea opposite Abhishek Bachchan and Garnier Color Naturals opposite Karishma Kapoor are among the noted ads. Ajay Bhuyan’s Amit Sahni Ki List marked her Bollywood debut.

Leonardo Di Caprio is her favourite actor and loves to do the dream roles – Simran in DDLJ and 'Geet' from Jab We Met. She loves Japanese cuisine most and MasaiMara, Morrocco and Istanbul are her Favourite travel destinations. Princess Diana is her favourite style icon and wants to do a movie with Salman Khan. Andaz Apna Apna, Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron, Roman Holiday, Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind and One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest are among her favourite movies.
