Anil Mange Biography

Anil Mange is a Bollywood film actor, best known for playing the comic role of Lord Shiva (artist in Shiva’s makeup) in Aamir Khan starrer PK released in 2014. He also played brief roles in Bollywood hits - Singh Is Bling, Kaanchi, Hero, Shooter and Hasee Toh Phasee. His role as Kanpuria Idol and Anu Malik fan also entertained audience a lot.  Though he appeared in many movies playing brief roles, he got attention from audience for the first time through Hasee Toh Phasee. Raees starring Shah Rukh Khan is his upcoming release. He is also a music composer.

Anil Mange was born in the year 1985. He belongs to a business family in Balaghat, Madhya Pradesh. His parents expected him to get involved in the family business soon after competition of his studies. But he wanted to become a cricketer. He completed his graduation in commerce. As he grew up dancing and acting became his passion. He came to know about about Whistling Woods International Institute Mumbai from his elder brother and he enrolled there for an acting course. Later he joined film industry as an actor playing minor roles. He has a huge list of cinema idols including Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Irrfan Khan and Tom Hanks.

He played a middle-aged father in the movie, Kaanchi. He played the villain’s role in Randeep Hooda starrer Shooter. Hasee Toh Phasee gave him the big break to the industry he actually deserved. He was seen singing Anu Malik’s songs Gori gori and Ek garam chai to impress the heroine. Though his role in PK was brief, it was one of the most hilarious scenes of the film.
