Anasuya Bharadwaj Biography

Anasuya Bharadwaj is a successful television anchor and film actress, associated with Telugu entertainment industry. After staying in television industry for a while, she made her feature film debut with Kshanam in which she portrayed a negative lead role in 2013. Earlier she has done a brief role in Telugu movie, Naaga in 2003 as a law student. She worked as a TV anchor for Sakshi TV since 2013, and some of her popular shows as a TV host include Jabardasth, Bindass, Genes, Dhee Jodi, Drama Juniors Season 1 and 2, Comedy Nights, Jackpot Season 1 and 2, Blockbuster, A Date with Anasuya and many more.

She was born in Hyderabad in 1980. She completed Master of Business Administration) from Badruka College in 2008, and worked in corporate sector for a while. Though she received many film offers, she didn’t accept any. Yet she appeared in a brief role in Telugu movie, Naaga in 2003. She started off her television career with Sakshi TV, and very soon turned a very successful and popular TV anchor, presenting different chat shows, reality shows etc.

At first she appeared as a news presenter for Sakshi TV, and then switched to TV show anchoring in 2013. At first she anchored Jabardasth, a comedy show, and the show is still in air, completing almost 5 years. The show made her a successful VJ, and she did a few more shows as well. In 2016, she got an opportunity to act in film opposite Akkineni Nagarjuna in Soggade Chinni Nayana. But the movie which got released first was Kshanam in which she portrayed antagonist. After the grand success of Kshanam, she acted in Telugu movies such as Winner (in an item song), Rangasthalam, Gayatri etc.
