Amol Parashar Biography

Amol Parashar is an alumnus of IIT Delhi, who works as an actor and dialogue writer of Bollywood. Amol Parashar is known for his work on Money Devo Bhava, Babloo Happy Hai (2014) and A Night with the Suspects (2012). Traffic is his upcoming Bollywood flick, the remake of a Malayalam movie with the same name. He also wrote the dialogues for the 2013 Bollywood flick – Jackpot which starred Sunny Leone in the pivot role. He received positive response for the supporting role he played in the recent release – Babloo Happy hai. He plays the role of journalist Vishal Singh’s (played by Vineeth Srinivasan in the original, whose organs are transplanted) friend in upcoming thriller, Traffic.

He was was born and brought up in Delhi in a middle-class family. Education was the first preference of the family. Amol Parashar completed his Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT, Delhi. Yet his real passion was movies. Despite having a good educational background he entered into the world of entertainment. He entered into the world of theater and finally to movies. His excellent dialogue delivery skills and commendable acting helped him to bag a few roles in Bollywood, though in supporting character roles.

Ranbir Kapoor -Gauhar Khan starrer Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year marked his acting debut in 2009. He got a bit role for the movie. Babloo Happy Hai is his first credited movie as an actor. Amol also appeared in many television ads as a model. McDonalds, Cadbury Silk, Virgin mobile, Hindustan Times, Bourbon, Mentos, Good Knight and Lay's are a few among his popular ads.
