Amit Sadh Biography

Amit Sadh is a television actor who now works in Bollywood. He portrays character roles on silver screen. He is of Indian descend who is settled in Birmingham, England. He made his film debut through a small role in Phoonk 2 - a Bollywood horror film directed by Milind Gadagkar. He was seen in the role of Ronnie, appeared during the last scenes of the movie. He was later seen in a cameo role in Maximum. 2012 sport drama - Kai Po Che was his real break to Bollywood. He played the pivot role of Omkar aka "Omi" Shastri (Priest’s son) - the nephew of a Hindu politician in the movie which shot to fame. Since then he received many offers from Bollywood.

 

In 2015, he played the parallel lead aside Arshad Warsi for the comedy film - Guddu Rangeela, directed by Subhash Kapoor of ‘Jolly LLB’ fame. The movie also starred Aditi Rao Hydari and Ronit Roy in pivotal roles. But the movie went unnoticed. Now a series of Bollywood movies are lined to release.  He is to play young Salman in the much awaited movie, Sultan. 10 Janpath, Runningshaadi.com and Akira are other upcoming releases.

 

Akira – is AR Murugadoss’ upcoming movie, the director of Gajini and Holiday fame and Amit is to play a pivot role. He shares screen space with Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur for the movie. Amit Sadh is to sport rock-hard abs in the film. The actor plays the lead role in the upcoming flick - Runningshaadi.com. Taapsee Pannu plays the female lead for the movie.

 

Amit had a short stint in television. He has participated in Bigg Boss reality show and has acted in a television show Guns and Roses, where he played a don. He played the role of a lawyer in Durgesh Nandinii on Sony TV. Kyun Hota Hai Pyarrr and Kohinoor are other noted TV appearances.
