Amit Bimrot Biography

Amit Bimrot is an Indian actor belonging to Bollywood cinema. He plays supporting roles on screen. He marked his screen debut with Raid (2018 film), sharing screen space with Ajay Devgan, and played the role of Satish Mishra, Income tax inspector who is a part of Devgan’s team who conducts raid at Saurabh Shukla’s house. Since then he received offers to play some meaty roles on screen. He was later seen in 2019 movie, Made In China, and also 2019 web series, Bard of Blood directed by Ribhu Dasgupta. Amit has also been featured in a few TV commercials like Parle G, JK Tyre and Vicks.

Amit Bimrot hails from Mehsana, Gujarat. He was born on 3rd November, 1990. He graduated in acting from Film and Television Institute of India. He also did theatre in Jaipur for a while before he moved to the dream city of Mumbai to pursue his dreams. However it was not easy for him to get an initial break in the industry, as he didn’t belong to filmy background. He started attending auditions and finally landed into the pivot role of an income tax officer in 2018 thriller – Raid.

Before getting his debut role, he also featured in TV ads, which earned him a break to Bollywood. He might have attended over 1000 auditions in a year, but didn’t get a break through. In 2019 he played the role of Nihar Pandey in his first web series, Bard of Blood, and also shared screen space with Rajkummar Rao, Mouni Roy, Boman Irani etc. His role got noticed. Simmi and Kasai are his upcoming projects. With a magic entry in Bollywood, he has a promising career ahead.
