Ahmed Sidhique Biography

Ahmed Sidhique is a noted actor and writer associated with Malayalam film industry. He is known for playing supporting roles. He has done mostly quirky roles in Malayalam films. His role as K.T. Mirash in Salt n’ Pepper gave him instant fame. He worked with Mammootty for the movies – Gangster, Praise The Lord etc. The movie Gangster was scripted with Ahmed himself. However, the movie did not do well at the box office. He wrote the story of Mrityunjayam, the short film directed by Uday Ananthan in the anthology film - Kerala Café. He was seen as a lover boy in Roopesh Peethambaran's You Too Brutus. He played a football fan in highly praised film - Muhsin Parari's KL 10 Pathu.

 

He was born in Thiruvananthapuram in 1985. He used to write since plus two. He is associated with Malayalam cinema since 2009. Though he has done a few supporting roles on silver screen, he dreams to become a successful screenwriter. He made his film debut as a screenwriter through the anthology film – Kerala Café. He wrote the script of Mrityunjayam. He then continued his journey as a scriptwriter and ‘Gangster’ was his next film. He was concentrating into his career as a screenwriter when acting happened to him.

 

He visited film director Aashiq Babu to show the completed script of Gangster. Aashiq babu was impressed by the script. He also persuaded Ahmed to act in his film as the nerdy K.T. Mirash, which he accepted. Once Salt n’ Pepper got released, he made his mark as a talented actor too. Since then he started accepting film roles. He appeared in Vineeth Sreenivasan’s Thattathin Marayathu as Musthafa and in Arun Kumar Aravind’s Left Right Left as Jason Fernandez.
