Advait Chandan Biography 
Advait Chandan is a young and budding film director associated with Bollywood cinema who is all set to make his debut as a director with Secret Superstar starring Bollywood megastar Aamir Khan. Earlier he has been associated with stage plays as an associate and assistant and has worked under Prahlad Kakkar and Reema Kagti, two leading names of the field. He has maintained a log of Aamir Khan’s activity for the past seven years, managing Aamir’s schedule post Dhobi Ghat and is all set for his debut with one of the most anticipating movies of the year, Secret Superstar. The film features Zaira Wasim, Meher Vij and Aamir Khan in lead roles. Zaira Wasim is best known for playing Aamir Khan’s daughter in the all-time blockbuster Dangal.
He dropped out of his 12th standard as classrooms were so suffocating for him. By that time he was already associated with theatre and theatre personality Neeraj Kabi that gave his life some direction. His parents put him in a children’s workshop at Prithvi Theatre. Advait did the workshop twice and when Neeraj noticed this, he offered to take him as his assistant. Tamannah Bhatia and Marathi actress Girija Oak were also among the 13 students picked by Neeraj. Thus he got opportunity to watch many plays of Prithvi theatre free of cost.
He later assisted Prahald Kakkar for his commercials. He soon landed an opportunity to assist Reema Kagti in Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd in 2007. He got associated with Aamir’s project Taare Zameen Par in 2007, followed by Dhobi Ghat in 2010, and since then fully associated with Aamir Khan’s production company. He worked as a casting director and post-production supervisor of Dhobi Ghat. He also worked as a production assistant for the film Taare Zameen Par. Aamir plays a music composer, who mentors Zaira's character in Advait Chandan’s directorial debut, Secret Superstar.
