Adivi Sesh Biography

Adivi Sesh is a young film actor and director associated with Telugu film industry. As an actor, Karma and Panjaa are his best known roles. He plays lead, character and supporting roles onscreen. He is the cousin of director Sai Kiran Adivi. His negative role as Munna, an NRI who is a wealthy spoiled brat in Pawan Kalyan starrer Panjaa earned him recognition as an actor. This single role gave him success as a villain and he portrayed several roles as ‘Bad Man’ on silver screen later. Sesh also acted in S.S. Rajamouli's Magnus Opus Baahubali: The Beginning. He played lead role opposite Priya Banerjee in 2013 movie – Kiss.

A native of Hyderabad, Adivi’s full name is Adivi Sesh Sunny Chandra. In 2002, he was seen in a cameo role in the film – Sontham. He made his film debut with 2010 film Karma: Do You Believe?, where he carried different roles of film director, actor and screenwriter. He played the lead role aside Jade Tailor and Sher Ali. His debut appearance onscreen was well appreciated by critics and praised to adopt an unconventional path which has never happened earlier. The actor describes this role as the most rewarding and the most stressful experience in his life. Though the film lost 25% of its investment cost, it definitely made an impact. The movie also helped him to bag a role in S.S. Rajamouli's Baahubali.

In 2011, he got his breakthrough role as a villain with Pawan Klayan starrer, Panjaa. His role was just opposite to his first screen appearance and ‘this good looking villain’ was praised by critics for his new avatar. It was followed by his different roles in Balupu, Run Raja Run, Baahubali: The Beginning, Kiss, Dongaata, Ladies & Gentlemen etc. He played lead roles in Ladies & Gentlemen, Kiss etc. He was seen in a cameo appearance in Size Zero and most recently, Oopiri.
