Aaryan Krishna Menon Biography

Aaryan Krishna Menon is a film actor, screenwriter and director involved with Malayalam film industry. He made his acting debut in the film Tournament in 2010 in a supporting role, and later appeared in movies such as Pranayam, The Great Father etc. He has been featured in a lead role in short films such as Srishti Samhara and Burn My Body. He plays his first lead role in a full-fledged film through Lilli (2018 film). He has also scripted and directed one short film, Burn My Body. Koodasa is his upcoming flick.

Aaryan Krishna Menon hails from Thrissur, Kerala. He was born in 1987 to M. S. Girijavallabhan and T. K. Remani in Kodungallur. Since young he aspired to join film industry. He worked in theatre before moving to the world of feature films and short films. He has acted in many theater productions since his college days and has won several University-level awards. He is married to his longtime girlfriend Sowmya Vidyadhar and has two daughters in this wedlock. Soumya has one daughter from her first marriage.

Aaryan completed his post graduate diploma in Journalism, and started his professional career as a senior Radio jockey at Mathrubhumi Club FM. He produced and hosted a popular celebrity chat show called Star Jam, while working as an RJ. In one of the episodes of the show, he interviewed actor Mammootty. Actor-director Lal who accompanied the star in the show got impressed by the passion of Aaryan towards acting and offered him the first break to films through Tournament in 2010. He played negative role in the film. Since then he has appeared in many films, apart from several short films.
