Aarti Puri Biography

Aarti Puri is an upcoming film actress, previously associated with television. As a television actress she is best known for the character Trishna in Colors’ Madhubala- Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, directed by Saurabh Tewari which earned her popularity and fame. She played parallel lead alongside Drashti Dhami in this show. She has also appeared in Bollywood movie, Ramaiya Vastavaiya (2013) as Gauri and Bhojpuri movie, Deswa in 2011. This actress is originally from South and later made her small screen debut through Hindi soap, Madhubala- Ek Ishq Ek Junoon through which she earned quick attention. She also got a role for the movie, Kambakht Life.

Aarti is a girl with lots of dreams in her eyes who believes in hard work as well. Though it was rumoured that she quit the show - Madhubala- Ek Ishq Ek Junoon after she got film offers, she denied it. She gave a statement that she is still a part of the show. But later she quit the show and stated that there is no chance to return back to the show. She acted in south Indian movies - Dammunnodu (2010), Musaa: The Most Wanted (2010) and Nalaik (2005), before entering the show - Madhubala- Ek Ishq Ek Junoon. She has also appeared in a few music videos and a few item songs. She also worked with Anu Malik for an Antakshari show as a host.

She will be soon seen in Action Jackson, directed by Prabhudeva, who offered her a role in Ramaiya Vastavaiya. She is to star with Ajay Devgan and Sonakshi Sinha in this movie.
