Aarohi Patel Biography

Aarohi Patel is a popular Gujarati film actress. She started her acting career as a child artist and later graduated to adult roles. Currently she plays lead roles on big screen. Saandeep Patel's Moti Na Chowk Re Sapna Ma Ditha was her debut movie as a child artist. In 2015 she made her debut as a lead actress through the movie, Premji: Rise of a Warrior directed by Vijaygiri Bava. She worked with Abhimanyu Singh, Happy Bhavsar and Mehul Solanki for her debut flick as a lead actress. In 2017 she played her second lead role through the hit film, Love Ni Bhavai for which she won best actress award at various award functions. Her role as RJ Antara in the movie shot her to instant fame.

 

Aarohi Patel was born on 15 November 1994 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. She was born into a filmy family as the daughter of Director-Producer duo Sandeep Patel and Aarti Patel. She graduated in commerce from Ahmedabad University, and took Master’s degree in Development Communication. Since school days she participated in dance and theatre competitions and won many prizes too. She has done her internship in one of Ahmedabad's popular radio station, 94.3 My FM.

 

She marked her acting debut in 1999 through Gujarati film, Moti Na Chowk Re Sapna Ma Ditha playing the role of Pooja. As a child actor she has appeared in 2001 TV show, Sati Savitri, where she played the childhood role of Savitri. She appeared in 4 episodes of the show. Later she took a break from acting to concentrate on her studies and returned in 2015. She received 'Best Actress' Award at Gujarati Screen and Stage Awards-2017 and Radio City Cine Awards-2017 for her memorable role in Love Ni Bhavai.
