Aamna Shariff is a television personality. She appears in Bollywood movies also. She has also appeared in a few hit music videos like - Falguni Pathak's "Yeh Kisne Jadoo Kiya," Abhijeet's "Chalney Lagin Hain Hawain", Kumar Sanu's "Dil Ka Alam Main Kya Bataun Tujhe", Daler Mehndi’s "Eh Le 100 Rupiya" and Shael's "Nachana Kamal Tera." She played Female Protagonist in daily soaps like Kahiin to Hoga and Hongey Judaa Na Hum. She played lead role in Bollywood movies - Aloo Chaat and Aao wish karein. Later she appeared in supporting role in Shakal pe mat jaa.

Aamna was born on 16 July 1982 in Mumbai. She studied at St. Anne's High School, Bandra. While doing graduation, she began to take modelling assignments. She appeared in television ads of leading brands like Close-Up Toothpaste, Beetel Mobile phones, Emami Cosmetic Cream, Clearasil Skin Cream and Nescafe. She debut small screen in the year 2003 with Kahiin to Hoga of Star Plus, where she played Kashish Grewal, Female Protagonist. Success of Kahiin to Hoga made her a star and helped her to earn many awards and nominations as well. Her onscreen chemistry with Rajeev Khandelwal was well received by audience and the pair received many awards including Star Parivaar Awards and Indian telly awards. She received Logitech Style Icon of the Year award at Indian Telly Awards in 2006.

She returned to acting on TV after six years with the Serial, Hongey Judaa Na Hum in 2012. She played the main lead with character name Muskaan Mishra, for which she earned Favorite Comeback on Television award at 19th Lions Gold Awards. She also appeared in mini promo series, Ek Thhi Naayka in 2013. Aamna debut Bollywood with Aaloo chat in 2009. She played lead role opposite Aftab Shivdasani in the movie. Same year, her second movie, ‘Aao wish karein’ was also released. Again she was paired opposite Aftab Shivdasani. Though the script was something new, it couldn’t bring people to theatres. Similar to their first movie, this one too bombed at box office.
