Aadi Biography

Aadi is a popular Telugu actor. He is the son of Telugu actor Sai Kumar. He debut big screen in the year 2011 with Prema Kavali opposite another debutant, Isha Chawla. The movie was a commercial success thus placing Aadi in the list of successful young actors of Telugu cinema, post 2010. The movie ran for 100 days and was declared a Blockbuster. He won Filmfare Award, South Indian movies Intrenational award, Hyderabad Times Film Awards and CineMAA awards for Best Male Debut for this movie also. Lovely and Sukumarudu are his other released movies.

Aadi did his primary education at Chennai. His schooling was completed at St Andrews Hyderabad and St John’s. He graduated from Bhavans. Though he was interested in acting, he was inclined towards studies and sports during his early days. Being an all-rounder in cricket, he was selected for under-19 Ranji Cricket Team also. It was actor Chiranjeevi’s positive comments while watching his dance performance at Karnataka Andhra Lalithakala Academy that Aadi too, chose a career in acting. Ravi Kumar Chavali suggested Aadi to Dr. Venkat, who promised to launch Aadi in film world.

Aadi debuted in 2011 with K. Vijaya Bhaskar's directorial Prema Kavali. This love story was a roaring hit and established Aadi as an actor. He accumulated numerous awards as a promising debut actor also. Apart from his romantic scenes, his action scenes as well as dance performances were well appreciated. His next Release was B. Jaya's directorial Lovely (2012) where he played the role of Akash. He got good appreciation from critics for his second movie and critics found him impressive in songs and action sequences. But his 2013 release Sukumarudu received bad remarks from critics. ‘Rough’ is his upcoming movie.
