Meyari Bazar is my native village situated 18 km from Sasaram the district HQ of Rohtas district. The village is quite developed having all the basic facilities needed for day to day life. It has mixed population of hindus and muslims who dwell together peacefully and celebrate all the festivals together. The processions in Durga puja and Tazia in Ramzan are taken out regularly and people from both communities participate with equal zeal and zest. It has a 10+2 High School, a good bazaar, a mandir and Bank as well a Post office. The fields are very fertile fully canal irrigated the harvests are bumper. All in all the village is most advance and a model of development and secularism. I am proud of my village.
