Swami Anand Arun Biography

Swami Anand Arun is a disciple of Osho, the spiritual leader who currently serves as coordinator of Osho Tapoban – An International Commune and Forest Retreat Center. He is an excellent orator and spiritual leader at present. He was an engineer by profession and saw Osho for the first time in 1969 and got smitten by his physical grace and firing speech. Very soon he started a meditation centre at his own residence and began spreading Osho’s message in Nepal in 1970, marking the beginning of his spiritual journey.

 

Co-ordinator of Osho Tapoban International Commune in Nepal, through his efforts Tapoban has already opened 22 Osho centres and communes in foreign countries apart from 60 centres in Nepal. Till now he has initiated more than sixty-five thousand people from all over the world, and spent more than 45 years in the spiritual world of Osho. Swami Anand Arun is of Nepalese origin. He has already conducted more than 600 meditation camps in Nepal, USA, India, Japan, Malaysia, England, Germany, Italy, Czech, France, Switzerland, Canada, Ukraine, Russia and many more. Swami Anand Arun has helped drug addicts and depression patients and cured them through the path of mediation and love. He believes love and freedom to be the greatest human gifts.

 

He met Osho for the first time in Pune on 29 March, 1969. He took initiation from him in 1974 in Pune. As instructed by Osho he moved back to Nepal where he spread the messages of his guru. He opened Rajneesh Meditation Center at his residence on 21 December 1974, the first Osho Center in Nepal. Apart from known as a spiritual leader, a meditation facilitator and orator he has also published two books till now - Santa Darshan and Antar Yatra. He regularly writes columns for newspapers and magazines.
