Pratishtha Sharma Biography 
Pratishtha Sharma is a yoga guru and an Indian classical dance expertise of Kathak. She is the founder of the Bharat College of Performing Arts. She has visited many countries for the promotion of Indian art & Cultural through cultural ministry and for her own concerts. She has also done 17 television shows. "The Balancing Act with Pratishtha" based on teenage troubles is one such popular television program. She is also a columnist of Sakhi Magazine of Jagran Group, where she writes on both dance and yoga. Zee Network titled Sharma as the "youngest yogacharyaa" and "mind therapist" in the year 2007.
She is the daughter of Yoga guru Bharat Bhushan – the first recipient of Padmashri for yoga. She is a granddaughter of Pandit Bishambar Singh - educationist, social reformer, freedom fighter and vedic thinker. She learnt yoga from her father and Guru Shankar Apte Kathak Kendra New Delhi. ‘Jago Bharat Dhyan Yog Andolan’ is her Yoga show telecasted thrice in Zee Jagran Channel. She has given more than 350 dance performances and choreographed 22 dance performances till now. Her programs are being shown in several TV channels like Etv, Zee Jagran, Zee News, India TV, Total TV, Zee News Uttar Pradesh, Focus TV, Shri news and Naxatra News. Apart from being a successful television host, she has also delivered lectures for more than 2800 hours till now. She has also been invited as Guest Lecturer and Motivational Speaker at several leading colleges.
Through her proficiency in Kathak and yoga, she has developed a unique dancing style of her own. She is an ‘A’ grade theatre artist. She has been associated with theatre groups as 'Adacar Group' and 'IPTA' and worked for plays, 'Sabse Udas Kavita', 'Chief Minister', 'Adhe adhure', 'Sunehere sapney', 'Ashad ka ek din' and ' Maha Nirvan'. Pratishtha is also a 'Prabhakar' with 1st devision in Tabla.
