Manjari Chaturvedi Biography 
Manjari Chaturvedi is a Sufi Kathak dancer belonging to the Lucknow Gharana. She is the founder president of Sufi Kathak Foundation, which trains students and conducts concerts as well. Known to be a pioneer of this art form, Manjari has played a magnificent role in promoting this dance form through this dance school. She has more than 2 decades of experience as a teacher and performer. She still follows the precedents of mystical traditions that are nearly 700 years old, and teaches students the same. To support marginal artists and provide research opportunities to scholars and students under the banner of The Foundation, she takes suitable steps.
As an artist she has been associated with Kashmiri Sufi musicians, Rajasthani Sufi musicians, Qawwals and Indian classical musicians with a wide repertoire, and such fusion works were not confined of region or traditions. She has also collaborated and performed with a wide range of international artists at global platforms. While doing a production work, she conducts extensive research on it, study old traditions and documents it properly and then finds her own artistic expression of the subject which is always unique. Through her performances, she spreads the message of human love and peace among people.
She has also been the part of the Symposium at the prestigious Smithsonian Museum Washington D.C, and has also represented her art form at various platforms across the globe. She is the Jury member of “Think Tank on Asian dance” for the prestigious Asian Dance Committee in Korea. Till now she has performed in more than 300 concerts in more than 22 countries across the world, in the past 2 decades. She hails from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Her grandfather, Justice Hari Shankar Chaturvedi, was a High Court Judge at The Lucknow bench, while her father was a scientist, geologist and a Geophysics professor at the IIT Roorkee.
