Sneha born in Mumbai and brought up in Dubai entered the film industry after she was spotted by Fazil in one of the Bharatnatyam dance performances. She had girl next door looks and the charming smile that took her to heights. She would not take up glamorous roles at any cost and this won her the support of elderly audience. She has acted in more than 50 films and like any successful actor in the industry has her own ups and downs. Though she gave many flops, her acting talents could not be underestimated. Naan Avanillai, Pudhupettai, Radha Gopalam, Autograph, Vasool Raja MBBS, Vaseegara, Maharadhi, Achamundu Achamundu and Pirivom Santhippom could be said as some of her best films.

She performed along with four other lead characters in the film Naan Avan Illai. This was the big grosser of 2007 and took her to new heights. It is about a man who is accused by four women as their husbands. To cheat woman and run with her money is his profession. But the person was too clever not to leave any evidence of the marriage. She performed her part well and stood apart from other heroines.

She reached yet another milestone through the film Vasool Raja MBBS. She was lucky to pair with the legendry like Kamal Hassan. He was about to be engaged to Sneha called Pappu as everyone thinks him to be a doctor. When the truth was revealed his parents were heartbroken. He decides to become a doctor and joins a medical college after cheating in the entrance examination. He changes the proceedings of the hospitals through his humane behavior. He makes everyone understand at the end that love is as essential as medicine to cure the disease. Sneha presented her natural acting performance with pleasing smile which remains her trademark.

The Telugu movie Sri Ramadasu released in 2006 won her critical acclaim. She performed the role of the wife of an ardent devotee of Lord Rama who was saved by Rama during critical times. Nagarjuna played the role of Gopanna and she played the part of his wife Kamala. Though she had less part to play in this film, she exhibited her full acting skills to fit into the role originally. After this mega hit film, Sneha photos and Sneha videos became famous among Telugu fans.

The film Autograph could be said as the best among the best movies of Sneha. The film is full of sentiments and the story goes to say how one should overcome sentiments to make their practical living. Sneha is the friend of the hero Cheran and remains a friend till the end demarcating the difference between friendship and love. Cheran could not win in his teen age love and college life love and finally had to reconcile with the marriage of the girl of his parent’s choice. Sneha teaches him the reality of life. This film is all about the practical life of an ordinary man without any heroism. The song in the film ‘Ovvoru Pookkalume’ is an evergreen tune that will stand in the minds of the audience for decades.
