Electricity is must in our daily life now. But this cannot be stored. I am saying this keeping in mind about batteries. Now everything is electricity oriented and we cannot think any without electricity. Previously at home there were no such appliances like washing machine, TV, Geezer, air conditioner etc. But now these all are essential at home and all are run by electricity.

It has endless demand, though now a day we use some other source of energy like solar etc but electricity is still number one essential. The price of electricity made us conscious at home but in many places still we are not so aware to save it. In many places, even in many streets also we see that lights are on in day time.

Here are some points to keep in mind to use it as per of our requirements, so that maximum number of people can use it.

• Off any appliances when not in use.
• Don’t forget to off the lights and fans when you are leaving home. Now an Off/on switch is available in market. There is a key and until it is pushed the main switch will be off. So tag your home keys with it as when you will leave the home, it will be automatically off. In many hotels’ room it is seen.
• Use appropriate wattage of bulb. Better use CFL as it consumes very less electricity.
• In induction cooker or heater use a regulator to use the power as per requirements.
• Use regulator in fan also, so that you can control the speed.
• Don’t keep any connection open, It may damage any appliances.

So our slogan should be- SAVE ELECTRICITY, SAVE NATION”S POWER.

Government has some responsibility also regarding this. In public places they should keep a watch so that lights are off in day. In offices we should be careful and should use electricity as per our demand. It is very costly item and we have to bear all costing if we consume electricity carelessly in public places. We should make a habit also to use electricity properly.
