Mumbai police is directed by Roshan Andrews the leading role is done by pritviraj. Mumbai Police is a crime suspense thriller, which is engaging with enriched visuals and Prithviraj-Rahman-Jayasurya's electrifying performances are the main highlight in the movie. Rosshan's engaging screenplay and thought-provoking dialogues, Gopi Sunder's music and background score, G Diwakar's fantastic camera work are the other attractions of the movie. The director has implemented advanced technology in the film.

Antony Moses IPS (Prithviraj) is shattered when his best friend Aryan John Jacob IPS (Jayasurya) is shot dead while about to receive a gallantry award from the Governor. Entrusted with the case investigation by Farhan Aman IPS (Rahman), the Police Commissioner, Antony is within an arm's reach of the culprit, when he meets with an accident and loses his memory.


The movie follows a different style of storytelling. It starts with a phone call where Prithvi has identified the culprit but before he can reveal the name he meets with an accident those results in a loss of memory. Mumbai Police then deals with the ways and paths by which ACP Antony re investigates the case and finds out the culprit as well as him.

What is exciting about the movie is the unpredictability and the suspense carried over till the climax. In fact what I found most interesting was the climax. The movie has taken a bold twist at the end. Wow! Prithviraj has done a commendable job expect his language maybe. Rehman and Jayasurya in their respective roles supported the movie well.

The movie has no songs but the background score by Gopi Sunder is good even though many of the tracks sounded familiar. The cinematography and editing were above par. As far as the story is concerned it wasn't tight enough to reason out many events that happened in the story. 

Mumbai Police also made me realize a fact that the Kerala audience is still not ready to accept things against their moral values as many rated the movie very low solely because of this. For the same reason I shall not risk a rating but you can definitely go and watch Mumbai Police.

One thing Mumbai Police stand out from the rest, you need to sit and watch whether you are going to accept the experiments what Mumabi Police brings in. And it is your call whether you can think differently than the usual formulaic story. At the end a strikingly different story, well executed and acted.
