New Year Resolution - Fitness

 

New Year is the time when we should look back in the past year and prepare for future. By looking backward we learn from the mistakes can do the planning for the future. This planning which we call resolution help us to live a better and happy life.

 

All of us want to live healthy and happy life and for a healthy body we have to be fit in all aspects. According to a survey 40% man and 30% women are overweight in the world. On the other hand 24% men and 27% women are obese in the world. These statistics are really threatening because obese give birth to other health related problems. Everyone likes to keep their body fit, but the problem is lack of interest to change the diet and exercise program. To keep our body healthy we should set fitness as our New Year resolution and adjust the attitude for the change of lifestyle.

 

For fitness, first of all we have to adjust our attitude, because most of took the exercise as time consuming, painful and boring. Willpower doesn’t work alone. It is good for short-term goal. For long-term goal like fitness we require a systematic planning and discipline. There is a quote related to the attitude for fitness says, “ The only way to keep your health is to eat what you don’t want, drink what you don’t like, and do what you’d rather not.

 

Regular exercise and healthy diet combination keep our body fit. All of us know that regular exercise related to health benefits. Regular exercise not only reduces the risk of heart related problem but also helps to achieve the desired weight and maintain it. In addition to that it lowers the blood pressure, increase the longevity and improve the arthritis. In nut shell we can say that exercise keeps us healthy and we feel better every time. There is famous quote related to fitness, “Be brave, be bold, dare and do and for this one should be physically fit and mentally tough.”
