Nowadays house shifting is most common as everyone are professionals. In search of new destinations, they need to shift their dwelling place from one location to another. If they are shifting as a family, they need to work a lot to shift every belonging including kitchen accessories, children’s clothes and books and materials for recreation. So, let me give you a few tips to make packing and shifting easy.

Before you shift things to the new home, you should have a clear idea, where each and every thing is to be placed. If so, you can directly place those packets in those respective areas avoiding dragging of heavy boxes later. If you can’t find right place for a particular belonging in your new home, check if you can avoid it before you shift. It’s better to make a list of things before you start the task of packing. Never pack tow indifferent things in the same box.

Leave all those unwanted items before you shift and mark each and every box while packing. It helps to avoid confusion later. Also pack less used things first and daily used items later. If you are packing a week earlier, you can pack all clothes except those needed for a week; kindly avoid unused and unfit clothes. At the last phase of packing, you can pack the remaining clothes in one or two packets.

If you have any leisure hobbies like tailoring, embroidery or puppet making, you can pack those things earlier itself. Same is the case of less used kitchen accessories. Throw old vessels and containers or give them to someone in need, if you don’t want to carry them to your new home. Last day of packing though appears easy, it’s the real headache. It’s the day we pack most useful and simple things of our daily life.

Avoid big purchases before the shift unless you can’t buy those things at new place. And when you reach there unpack most needed items first, for example, your clothes, kitchen accessories, mattress and pillows. If everything is orderly arranged it takes less time to arrange them later. Kindly avoid all useless things, they take both your precious time and space at new home. Also plan it well before starting the process of unwrapping boxes, to find suitable place for all objects.
