Goa-The City Of Beaches

 

Goa is one of the most famous tourist places of India. Beaches are one of the biggest attractions of this place. The entire coastline is filled with the world class beaches and the names of these beaches are on the name of nearest villages. The goan coastline is marked with the two continuous stretches of the beaches on northern and southern coast. Some of the most famous beaches of the Goa are as follows:

 

Bogmalo Beach: If one is coming to visit Goa by Air, then Bogmalo beach is the nearest beach to airport. The distance from airport to Beach is 5 kilometre. One can find the three star Bogmalo beach resort alongside Bogmalo beach.

 

Anjuna Beach: This beach is 18 km from the Panjim and adjacent to the fort of chapora. One can find water sports activity on this beach.

 

Arambol Beach: This beach is 50 km away from the capital Panjim and famous for sandy and rocky beach line. One can find the sweet water pond on the shore side of this beach.

 

Baina Beach: Baina Beach is 2 km away from the Vasco-da-Gama railway station and near to Mormugao port trust. One can enjoy the walking and water sports activity on beach.

 

Baga beach: Baga beach is 18 km from Panji. The adjacent beaches of Baga are Calangute, Candolim, Siquriem beach. One can enjoy scuba diving, para sailing and boating here.

 

In addition to that one can enjoy the soft sand girdled with palm tree alongside Miramar beach which is nearest to the Panjim. Palolem is in the southern taluka of Canacona and famous for its beauty. Majorda and Utroda are the beaches on southern belt of Goa beaches. One can find a number of resorts and hotels alongside this beach belt. On south of this belt Colva beach is situated. One can find a number of shacks alongside this beach belt.
