When you feel that you are not exercising enough or eating healthy then it is the time for you to change. Many times we remain idle or choose not to concentrate on exercising and eating healthy even though we realise that we need to trim down. According to statistics available, the number of people who are overweight worldwide is amazing.   This can only result in blood pressure, diabetes and high cholesterol.

When being obese impacts a large number of people in a country, there are reasons to be frightened. Fish is a healthy food because it has many essential things that are good for you. Many junk foods have only blank calories.  Blank calories because these are basically calories in the form of fat or sugar that do not really supply the body with something of use.  In fact, we should eat foods that contain protein and beneficial nutrients and stay away from saturated fats, trans-fats, salt and sugar.

Saturated fats, trans-fat, salt and sugar are not good for our health, particularly when taken in excess. Whereever possible, it is advisable to try and reduce consuming processed food. Processed foods may taste good to eat but are only full of empty calories.  Therefore it may be tempting to overeat.  However the fact is that these processed foods can cause diabetes, heart attacks and they may also block the arteries.
